Account Type*

There are two classes of account, pay per view and subscriber. Please indicate which type of account you would like. For further details, see the overview of Satellite Data Services and pricing information.

Pay-per-view

 Commercial
Commercial accounts can view current SST data for recreational and commercial areas, cloud imagery, the SST climatology, and the monthly SST analyses. This type of account can also have customised "private" SST areas defined and access current SST data for those areas.

 Recreational
Recreational accounts can view current SST data for recreational areas only, cloud imagery, the SST climatology, and the monthly SST analyses.

Subscriber (information on subscription types)

 Gold
For a fixed monthly fee, ($200+, pricing information) fishing companies can become Gold subscribers and use Sat-View software at sea (including underway services), view current and past SST data for all areas, and view all other information. You will be prompted to register some details for each vessel/user served by this account. A minimum subscription period of three months applies.

 Silver
For a fixed monthly fee, ($300+, pricing information) fish processing companies can become Silver subscribers. Their supplier vessels can then use Sat-View software (without underway services), and can view current and past SST data for all areas, and view all other information. You will be prompted to declare the number of vessels served by this account. A minimum subscription period of three months applies.

 Bronze For a fixed monthly fee, ($50, pricing information) Recreational fishers can become Bronze subscribers. A Bronze subscription offers unlimited access to Recreational Area SST analyses, and to GMS imagery. A minimum subscription period of three months applies.

Login credentials

Your username and password must each be 6 or more printable characters. Each can include letters, numbers, and underscores ( _ ), but no spaces, quote marks or at symbols (", ' or @). They must not be the same, and please don’t choose an obvious password.

The username needs to be unique, so if you use a common family name we recommend adding your initials. These account details will need to be supplied each time you log on.

Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive. For example, JSmith and jsmith are considered different. Please ensure that you use consistent capitalisation, or none at all.

Note that this is not the place to login to the service once you have registered. To login and access the data, use the navigation menu options under “SST Access”.
